- Storage: Health data is stored locally on your device and synchronized with our secure cloud database (Firebase) to maintain your progress across devices.
Account Information
- Authentication Data: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we collect your email address and display name.
- User ID: We generate a unique identifier for your account to maintain your progress and statistics.
Usage Data
- Quest Progress: We track which quests you've completed, your total steps, daily steps, and current streak.
- Challenge Data: We store information about challenges you participate in, including opponent information and step counts.
- Achievement Data: We track your achievement progress and completion status.
- Coin Balance: We maintain your in-game currency balance and transaction history.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Track your step count and progress through quests
- Enable challenge features and matchmaking
- Calculate and display your statistics (streaks, achievements, etc.)

Health Data Permissions

- You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's settings
- Revoking permissions will prevent the app from tracking your steps, but your account and progress will be preserved
Children's Privacy
Step Quest is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.
